Angels are messengers of God in the Hebrew Bible (translating מלאך), the New Testament and the Quran. Other roles of angels include protecting and guiding human beings. In Angels & Asses, it comes as a shock to people that most of the angels present ignore the latter supposition and are mostly warriors for Michael's side, of the Apocalypse...with exceptions of of course.
